Instant Films - Integral

Here are the films that are still available from various sources. NONE are currently being manufactured, but expired and well taken care of can still give you results. These are NOT every kind of integral film available, there were alot of variations and whatnots. This page covers the big ones you are likely to see in use.

Integral comes in three basic types:

SX-70 / 600

3.5 x 4.25 (image area: 3 x 3.125)

"Square" format with bottom border

Spectra

4 x 4.125 (image area: 3.625 x 2.875)

"Wide" format with bottom border

Miscellaneous

These films are so odd, I won't go into detail about them here.

Integral cameras will only take ONE type of film. They are NOT interchangeable.

You can use 600 film in a camera made for SX70 film. See here for how.

600/779 Credit: s0stndrd SX70 Credit: Option8 SX70 Alpha Specs: Film Speed: ISO 640 Glossy Tips & Tricks Balanced for daylight and electronic flash exposure; when shooting inside use a blue filter to avoid a yellow/green cast. No matter what Outkast may say, don't shake this film!	600 Matte Credit: Lucilla Bellini CoolCam 600 Credit: Option8 Impulse SE Specs: Film Speed: ISO 640 Matte Two lines for writing on Tips & Tricks Most integral prints need permanent markers to be written on. This film can use even a pencil. Because its matte, the colors are slightly muted.
Time Zero / SX-70 Credit: Alison Garnett SX70 Credit: Tubes SX70 Specs: Film Speed: ISO 150 Glossy Manipulatable emulsion Tips & Tricks This is the only integral film that allows manipulation of the emulsion. VERY RARE and expensive. Expired film is all you'll find, and it gives odd results sometimes.	Time Zero / SX-70 Credit: Kat White SX70 Credit: Eric De Fino / Raygun SX70 Specs: Film Speed: ISO 640 Glossy Uses original SX70 film pack for a perfect fit. Tips & Tricks Special blend-chemistry for unique colors. Integrated ND filter built in to compensate for faster film speed.
