So you've decided to purchase an instant film camera. But you have no idea what to look for and don't want to be ripped off. Hopefully this page will take some pressure off finding what you'd like and what.

You are not going to find these cameras in stores.

The only place to always find some is eBay. Local camera shops who haven't gone digital, flea markets, yard sales, and your local Craigslist are other places to look. Check the attic, the basement, your friend's houses, your neighbor's.

Keep an eye out: once you've seen a Polaroid camera, its easy to spot the next one.

Always be wary about things sold "as is".
