InstaxLand!

My most recent work.

A brand new attempt with Polaroid conversions.

AND NOW OFFERING PACKFILM to INSTAX WIDE conversion! If you have a packfilm converted 110A or B, 95A or B, 110, 150, 160 or 800 it can now be modified to take instax wide! See below for more details.

Fuji has created its very own 800 speed, color, integral film called Instax. There are wide or mini formats and Fuji has made many cameras which can take these films. However, not a single one of these cameras will give you much, if any, control over your exposure, focus or depth of field. And do not even get me started on the lack of ability to use external flashes, filters or anything of that nature.

You are finally in luck if all those down sides about Instax Cameras has kept you from exploring this format. My conversions will allow you to use the Instax Wide film with a large format fast lens. Couple this with a focusing rangefinder and manual shutter controls with external flash support and this is the camera Fuji should make but apparently only I do.

Similar in design and execution to my packfilm conversions these machines are built with attention to detail that would make you believe they came direct from the Polaroid (of Fuji) factory. And unlike all of Fuji’s Instax cameras this does not require any batteries to operate. When you want to eject and develop your film, flick a switch and use the hand crank which you can remove and store in the side compartment.

SHOOTS 100% FULL FRAME.

All models include the following:

  • Choice of finder texture and color (standard is textured black)
  • Instax Wide back with hand crank
